Between lake and city, between city block and solitary villas lies the project “Seefelder”. The unique urban contrast and the extraordinary quality of the location reflect the specific character of the entire quarter.

The new urban piece is both a solitary and a block, both city house and villa, both public and private, unique and generic at the same time. With its urban façade facing Bellerive and Feldeggstrasse, the building fits into its immediate context. On the other hand, the private courtyard to the back breaks this rigor and cascades around the existing willow tree. The result is a multitude of places, niches and spaces that are in dialogue with the diverse functions that the project maps.

Hence, the program includes a hotel with conference areas and co-working spaces, a bar, a restaurant, retail space, long-stay apartments, studios and dwellings. An efficient infrastructure accommodates the various functions. Some are equipped with self-sufficient access, so that they can be used in parallel without conflicts of interest between the individual functions.

The interaction between the different functions and the interaction on the ground floor with the public space create a diverse urban quality, which in its entirety is symbolic of the entire quarter.
