This office building is part of Milano Santa Giulia, a recently developed area containing approximately 1.2 million square meters of newly built space developed by Lord Norman Foster and located about 4 km north of Milan. The building is situated in the quarter’s commercial center, which offers all urban functions including shopping, offices, apartments, and leisure facilities.
All specific functions are located in the center of the courtyard, so that on the one hand, 100% of the net usable office space is available and on the other hand, visual effect and architectural variety can be created in the courtyard. The ring is elevated, and the courtyard is provided with greenery and water, achieving a comfortable microclimate. The project received a recognition prize from the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction in the European Region.
