Classically organized with a base construction and three towers, the project “Europahof” is integrated into the context of urban-planning. On the Europaallee side, the building presents a clearly structured façade and a readable base edge. From the tracks, it reveals a strikingly sculptural silhouette that nevertheless respects the SBB’s control center and fits into the urban context.

The base level defines the urban space. An Atrium and a courtyard provide a signature address and development. The courtyard is offset from the Europaallee and establishes a niche with an urban mixture of residential and office entrances and restaurants. Entrances for the commercial establishments and the west tower are located along the Europaallee. Forming an ensemble with development sites G and E, the residential tower endows the central area of the design plan with a sense of identity.

The project can be easily allocated to two or, with a small amount of effort, to three different investors and fulfills the Minergie-P-Eco Standard.
