BX Café Tokyo renovation

Hosoya Schaefer Architects is pleased to have contributed to the renovation of BX Café (Bronx Café), a long-standing club that has helped shape Shibuya’s cultural scene since 1997.

The project takes inspiration from the spirit of under construction, and the layered, evolving nature of hip hop remixes. Existing elements, new interventions, materials, colours, and memories are brought together to create a space that feels both unfinished and alive – continuously open to change, performance and new encounters.
