The SIPC is committed to open innovation around the topic of “Building Excellence”. Business, academia, and the public sector are working together to bridge the gap between research and application in fields such as circular building, new mobility, or energy. Efforts such as the platform jointcreate, the venture fund buildify.earth, the construction platform NEST at the EMPA Dübendorf or the circular building charta signed by some of the largest investors in Switzerland, are concrete examples of turning innovation into action.
